TabulaHow to see the value of your stock in Shopify
Go to Analytics > Reports, filter the category to Inventory, and open Month-end inventory value. Shopify's inventory reports show a snapshot at the end of each month; historical inventory data goes back to 1 October 2023.
Open the inventory reports
- From your Shopify admin, go to Analytics > Reports.
- Click the Category filter.
- Click Inventory, then open Month-end inventory value or Month-end inventory snapshot.
What the reports count
- From 1 October 2026, inventory reports measure stock by On hand quantity instead of Available. On hand includes committed and unavailable units, and excludes incoming units in a transfer.
- Earlier months still show the Available quantity, so historical numbers do not change.
- Inventory at deleted locations does not show in historical reports.
Stock value per location, today
Tabula's Stock value by location report adds up on-hand units and their value at cost and at price for each location, as they are when you run it. Stock by location lists available, on hand, committed and incoming units for each variant, and Low stock lists tracked variants that are running out.
